Ultramarines Forge World Dreadnought - Progress being made.

To All,
Here is the progress I've made so far. I love the model!

What color or what hive should the Tyranid on the banner be? After reading some of the "fluff" I'm leaning towards either Hive Fleet Behemoth or Kraken. Let me know your thoughts.

    Behemoth thats what I did for the Tyranid that chaplain cassius is standing on for my army. and the contrasting red Black and ultramarine blues came out really sharp.

    Very nice work! How did you do the blending on the blue itself? Closest thing to blending I've managed is base coat of army painter and lightly painting over with a darker/lighter color. Can't seem to keep the paint wet long enough to stretch it.

    I got a blending lesson from Jawaballs on "wet blending." I'm still a tad new at it and haven't perfected the skill yet. I'll ask him to make a video of the process.

    I use a "wet pallet" which is a piece of wax paper over a wet sponge. I'll snap a picture tonight.

    I'll take some pictures tonight of my method and try to put it in a coherent post.
