28mm Skeleton Archers
To All,
Last night I painted up five skeleton archers from Emperor’s Choice Melkalund City line.
The guy who sculpted these figures must also be a painter/gamer because, in my humble opinion, there is the perfect amount of detail on them to make them stand out but not too much as to be overwhelming for the novice painter or obnoxious for the veteran painter. They are just a joy to work with!
Check out Emperor's Choice website - they have a bunch of other excellent figures.

Back to work....
To all,
After a short hiatus I am back to painting. Over the next
two months I am going to working on three projects:
1) My 40K army for the Feast of Blades Tournament. I have to decide if I am going to flesh out my Ultramarines or go for something new, like a Nurgle/Plague Marine army. (here is a sneak peek of the Plague Marines I’m working on)
2) A Unit of Brigade Games Russians that will be donated/included in a silent auction at Fall In. Lon from Brigade Games is donating the figures and I ‘m going to paint them up. The silent auction benefits Toys for Tots.

3)
Skeletons. I am going to be painting a unit of
Emperor’s Choice Melkalund City skeletons. As I paint them I will be
writing up a “workbench” article that will be on TMP.
